Dirt Roads Rescue was born out of love, grit, and a relentless drive to do what’s right for the animals that get overlooked, forgotten, or failed by the system. We’re based in Ogden, Utah, and we’re building something different—a rescue rooted in community, compassion, and accountability.
We don’t just pull animals from shelters. We advocate. We educate. We foster with purpose and adopt with intention. Every animal we take in gets the care, respect, and fresh start they deserve.
Because the system is broken—and we’re not here to play nice with it. We’re here to build something better.
Too many animals fall through the cracks. Whether it’s overcrowded shelters, backyard breeders, or burn-out in rescue circles, we saw the gap—and decided to fill it.
We’re 100% volunteer-run and donation-powered. Our fosters are the lifeblood of our mission, giving animals a safe place to land while we find them forever homes. We partner with local vets, shelters, and other rescues to stretch every dollar and save every life we can.
Adoption fees help cover spay/neuter, vaccines, microchips, and other vet care—but the rest comes from good humans like you stepping up when it matters most.
It takes a village to save lives, and our volunteers are that village. We rely on people willing to:
If you’ve got a reliable car, a little time, and a lot of heart, you can make a huge difference. Every mile driven, every leash held, and every event shift means more dogs get the second chance they deserve.
